I found this cute throw on Bolt neighborhood's Blog.
This was made for a Picnic throw but wouldn't it be great to use on the floor or to throw over your sofa or chair for you pet?
Years ago ladies would make this when they needed an easy to sew quilt for everyday use. I have a few old tied quilts that are similar to this. One is from my Aunt Albertie who has since passed. She made it over 50 years ago. I treasure it.
Another idea I have is to make a rag quilt for a throw to cover my bedspread. I have 2 full grown labs who like to sleep with DH and me!
Here's another tack quilt but made with tablecloth and sheet. The cording makes it look so nice.
